Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how Buckist (“Buckist,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website and apps.

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Data Linked to You

We ask for certain personally identifying information when you create an account on our Service, which can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Data”). Advertising

Advertising helps us to keep our app free. The premium version of our app does not serve any ads. The premium version also does not initialize or call any AdMob method. The ad’s content is NOT based on your entries or notes. The Company don’t share your data with the ads providers. The free version of our Android app uses the following service:

AdMob (AdMob Google Inc.)

The Company use AdMob to display ad banners and other advertisements possibly based on your interests. AdMob uses cookies to identify users and they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to your interests and behavior, including those detected outside our app. For example, if you’ve previously visited e-shop selling shoes you might see more ads promoting shoes or shoe shops.

Tracking & Cookies Data

To track activities on our Service and store certain information, we utilize cookies and similar tracking technologies. On our Services, we employ Google Analytics (“Google, Inc.”). As a third-party provider, Google uses cookies to anonymously track your behavior on our website and app.

Third-party

When connecting your account with Google (“Google, Inc.”) or Facebook (Meta, Inc.”), the service will authenticate your identity and share certain information to us, such as your name, email address and profile picture. This data will be saved on our servers and added to your Account Data. We’ll simply utilize the service to verify your identity.

Location Information

Based on your IP Address, we do not gather any information on your Internet Service Provider’s general location. While using location services on our website or app, we do not store any personal geolocation information on our systems.

Your personal information is protected by SSL/HTTPS networks and is only accessible by a small number of people with special access permissions to such systems who are obligated to keep the information private. All In-App Purchases are handled by the provider (“Apple, Inc.”, “Google, Inc.”, or “Stripe, Inc.”) and are not kept or processed on our systems. If a data breach occurs, we will notify users as quickly as possible by email and site/app notifications in accordance with Fair Information Practices.

5. Accessing and Modifying your Information

Personal Information

By checking in and update your account settings, you can update your account at any moment. You can enable ‘Private Mode’ in your bucket details at any moment if you wish to hide any of your bucket list items.

Your Rights
